Summary:

A little boy named Charlie finds a baby reindeer in the woods and believes it is Prancer. He brings it home to care for until Santa can pick him up for Christmas. Charlie's attempt to reunite Prancer with Santa marks a direct change in the lives of Charlie and his family as, struggling and nearly broken, they are returned to love through the magical appearance of the reindeer.
