The purpose of this manual is to inform evaluators and administrators about the North Carolina Teacher Evaluation Process (NC TEP) and how it can be used to promote the professional development and growth of early childhood professionals. The manual contains procedures for observing and evaluating More at Four (MAF) prekindergarten teachers with North Carolina Birth-through-Kindergarten Standard Professional I or II (BK SP I or BK SP II) licensure, who work in nonpublic schools.
