Absolute rage / Robert K. Tanenbaum.

Tanenbaum, Robert, (author.).

Summary:

A fast-rising, blue-collar Teamster with designs on the union presidency has been murdered in the mountains of West Virginia, along with his wife and youngest child. The victim's two surviving children demand that Karp take the reins on the case -- not the feds or anyone else. Karp is wary from the start about wading into such a politically dicey and potentially ominous situation. His fears are chillingly justified when his beloved Marlene and their three children are targeted by the killers. Karp alone is left to negotiate a path through the deadly maelstrom of big-city labor corruption to find the truth, restore some semblance of justice -- and save his own family.
