Summary:

As the mayor of St. Nicholas, Iowa, Sarah has devoted her entire life to preserving the idyllic village. However, when St. Nick's only doctor dies, the town faces tragedy : a brand new hospital will close, dooming any future progress the area may hope for. Pressured by St. Nick's delightfully stubborn city council of elders, Sarah's only hope lies with her former high school sweetheart, Mike Greiser.
