Summary:

A group of American college students go to Mexico for a vacation. They find themselves in a brutal struggle for their lives when, on an archaeological dig in the jungle, they are ambushed by hostile Mayans and forced to the top of an ancient temple. There, a monstrous and diabolically clever entity awaits them among the ruins.
