Vitoria, 2019. Los señores del tiempo, a novel set in the Middle Ages, is published under a mysterious pseudonym: Diego Veilaz. Victoria, 1192. Diago Vela returns to his village after two years on a dangerous mission entrusted by King Sancho VI and finds his brother Nagorno married to his fiancée, the intriguing Onneca de Maestu. Unai López de Ayala, Kraken, faces some disconcerting deaths that are identical to the murders described in the novel Los señores del tiempo. Investigations will take Kraken to the lord of the tower of Nograro, a fortified tower house that has been inhabited for a thousand years by the firstborn male. But the reverse of such nobility is the tendency of the lords of the tower to suffer from multiple identity disorder, a detail that will drag Estíbaliz to live a risky love story.

Diago Vela retorna a su villa después de dos años en una peligrosa misión encomendada por el rey Sancho VI y se encuentra a su hermano Nagorno desposado con la que era su prometida, la intrigante Onneca de Maestu. Unai López de Ayala, Kraken, se enfrenta a unos deconcertantes muertes que son idénticas a los asesinatos decritos en la novela Los señores del tiempo. Las investigaciones llevarán a Kraken hasta el señor de la torre de Nograro, una casa-torre fortificada que está habitada desde hace mil años por el primogénito varón. Pero el reverso de tanta nobleza es la tendencia de los señores de la torre a padecer el trastorno de identidad múltiple, un detalle que arrastrará a Estíbaliz a vivir una arriesgada historia de amor.
