SUMMARY: Julio, a Puerto Rican and Ecuadorian youth living in the barrio of Spanish Harlem, suffers from strange visions. When he decides to believe Taína, a girl from school who is pregnant but claims to be a virgin, his love for her becomes a storm of emotions that will call into question his parents, his religion, and the basic principles of science.
